September 19, 2012,Weiss-Chemie and Beijing cofinetree Technology Co., Ltd. held a formal signing ceremony in Beijing. Through this contract, Beijing cofinetree Technology Co., Ltd. became an exclusive distributor and strategic partner of Weiss-Cheimie in China.

In recent years, there has been some counterfeit products that are similar to Weiss-Chemie adhesive products in Chinese market. The product affixed with red-white-red "Weiss" trademarks is not the true one. That trademarks were originally belongs to Weiss. But now, the Weiss-Chemie original products base on the new logo (right-top picture) and are sold by the Beijing cofinetree Technology Co., Ltd. which is an exclusive distributor of Weiss-Chemie in China.

1815 - Philipp Carl Weiss obtains the permission to found a glue factory in Haiger, in the street "Am Unteren Mühlenweiher＂

1857 - Takeover of the already successful glue production company by the son of the founder, Philipp Carl Wilhelm Weiss
1905 - The enterprise is converted in a Ltd., the company area is extended and two small glue factories are overtaken
1910 - For the trade with fertilizers, which flourishes after the inflation time, the company gets its own railway connection with its own shunter
1945 - Destruction of the factory premises due to aerial bombs, the production comes temporary almost to a standstill
1955 - Restarting of the hide glue production
1959 - Beginning of the production of synthetic glues and adhesives
1984 - Commencement of the forward-looking polyurethane chemistry in the adhesive field
1990 - Rebuilding after the major fire of 1989
1993 - Acquisition of the company Pudol, producer of cleaning- and maintenance products for industry, workshop and trade
2001 - Acquisition of Mallok, Herzebrock, producer of building front elements and specialist in the sector of foiling technology
2005 -Signed an exclusive agent with cofinetree technology company’s predecessor BKC in China
2006 -Foundation of Weiss USA, Monroe, North-Carolina
2008 - Comprehensive expansion of the existing office complex with applications technology test center and laboratory
2010 - The new logistics center was built with a total surface capacity of 3,700 m²
2013－Construction of a new warehouse for packaging material with a ground area of 1,320 m² and space for 1100 pallets

COSMO COMPOSITE PANELS

Our sandwich panels consist exclusively of high-quality material composites and are joined using an adhesive that has been developed by our company exclusively for that purpose and proven its reliability over the course of many years, resulting in a premium sandwich panel that may fully convince in terms of quality, solidity and longevity.

Due to a wide variety of available top layers and core materials, as well as the option of combining them in various ways, there are countless possiblitities for designing a finished product.

As a member of ift (Institute für Fenstertechnik) we regularly test new and/or further developed sandwich panels for thermal, noise and/or impact resistant properties. We thus offer you maximum safety since the test results are not only met in practical applications, but will be surpassed in most cases.
